HCBS Provider Support Call
We host a weekly operator-assisted conference call specifically for providers of Home and Community Based Services. On this call, providers can discuss KanCare-related issues with KDADS and the three KanCare health plans. These calls are on Tuesdays from 11:00 am-12:00 pm, beginning May 14.

Rapid Response Calls
NEW! Starting May 2, the Rapid Response Call will be held only once a week, on Thursdays, from 9-10:00 a.m. Check this space often for Call schedule updates as we assess the need for stakeholder calls based on call volume trends.
During this call, we welcome consumers, providers and other stakeholders to join the phone line and ask questions about their individual needs as it pertains to the transition to KanCare.
The KanCare program began conducting the then-daily operator-assisted stakeholder call on Dec. 26, 2012. Issues discussed on each call have been tracked in the State's KanCare Implementation Issues Log, in which you can find a list of the issues being worked by the State in support of consumers and providers.

Health Plan Provider Training
Amerigroup provider training can be found on the Amerigroup Provider website, under “Training Programs” –Click here for a schedule of events.
Ask Amerigroup Sessions—On Wednesdays Amerigroup will hold a session for all KanCare providers from 2 to 3 p.m. These are open forums and providers can ask any questions they may have. The number to call in is: 1-866-590-5055 and code 5494876.
Ask Amerigroup for Autism Providers- On Monday, April 22, Amerigroup will hold a special Ask Amerigroup call for all KanCare Autism providers from 10-11 a.m. Any Autism provider can call in to ask questions. The number to call in is: 1-866-590-5055 and code 5494876.

Public Listening Session
The State scheduled a teleconference Listening Session from 4-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, to discuss KanCare readiness with stakeholders.
Interested parties were invited to join the operated-assisted call. This listening session was hosted by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services, and included participation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
KanCare Second Educational Tour
The State of Kansas held its second round of provider and consumer educational meetings from Sept 24-27 in 12 cities across Kansas. KDADS Educational Meeting Materials from August 21-31, 2012
