AuthentiCare is the state of Kansas’ EVV vendor. To get started with AuthentiCare, a provider agency administrator must attend AuthentiCare training. Ongoing training is also available to current provider administrators who want to learn more. All training sessions are virtual and accessed through Xchange, the AuthentiCare learning management system (LMS). For assistance with Xchange, refer to the Xchange User Manual.

Provider administrators must register for Xchange to get access to the system. Administrators will receive an email notification once registration is approved and they can log into Xchange. Live training sessions can be found on the Events Calendar page in Xchange. 

Provider Overview Training

If you are new to EVV, or would like to attend a refresher training course, the “AuthentiCare Kansas – Provider Overview Training” is the perfect place to start. The provider overview training sessions will go over everything a provider agency administrator needs to know to get started with AuthentiCare, including but not limited to setting up the portal, scheduling, creating claims, billing for claims and reporting. These trainings are scheduled at various times for provider convenience. Check the Events Calendar in Xchange to see when the next overview training is scheduled.  

Note: If you are new to AuthentiCare, you will receive login information to your AuthentiCare account after completing this training.

Mobile Application Training

The mobile application training session covers how provider administrators can set up the AuthentiCare mobile application for workers to check in and check out of services. This session will also provide guidance on how providers can teach workers how to use the application.

Workers who use EVV can utilize the AuthentiCare mobile application training video for further assistance.  

Live Q&A

The live Q&A session is a great opportunity to get your AuthentiCare training questions answered. In this session, an AuthentiCare trainer will go over AuthentiCare announcements, that will also be distributed over email, and will answer any questions provider administrators have about using the web portal. 

Provider Overview Training

New Features Training

The new features training sessions are meant for provider administrators to learn about new features becoming available in AuthentiCare. Training is always recommended for provider administrators when new features become available. Changes to the EVV system will also be discussed in EVV townhall events and through email flash communications.

Check the Events Calendar in Xchange for the latest list of AuthentiCare training opportunities. Additional training sessions may be scheduled to provide further information and support to provider administrators using AuthentiCare.

Xchange also houses 20+ on-demand videos on how to use AuthentiCare that can be accessed 24/7. For training on a specific topic, these videos may offer the support you need.
