Effective October 14, 2025, Provider Electronic Solutions (PES) will no longer be supported by the Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP). Users will submit EDI transactions through KMMS. Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC)

The Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) is a vital advisory body to the state Medicaid agency.

Its primary purpose is to provide informed recommendations regarding Medicaid policies, ensuring that health and medical care services offered under the program meet the needs of beneficiaries. The committee consists of a diverse group of licensed medical professionals, Medicaid beneficiaries, mental health experts, pharmacists, government representatives and stakeholders working collaboratively to enhance the quality, accessibility, and equity of care.

These issues are discussed in aggregate and not on a member by member basis. The MAC does not discuss any information that is considered Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as defined by federal regulations.

Meeting Information

The Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) holds meetings quarterly on the third Wednesday of the third month in each quarter. All meetings are held from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and are available to attend via Zoom with some having the option of in-person attendance.
